Lake of the Woods School Board approved the use of two new logos for the school; one for athletics and one for all other uses.
The school district had a poll on its website, but some people at the meeting reported that they were unable to vote and Superintendent Steve Wymore said that some people were able to vote more than once, so the vote tallies could be misrepresentative.

The Lake of the Woods School Board approved the levy at the meeting Monday night.
The levy of $2,101,541.03 is $63,341.15 more than last year, or an increase of 3.11%.

Audit
In other financial business at the meeting, the board heard from Ray Lundee from Brady, Martz & Associated, P.C. He presented the annual audit to the board.

Be careful when going to the school, and especially leaving it, because the stop signs have been changed. The one-way road that is in front of the school now has a stop sign where it meets up with the main road. In addition, the sign that stopped vehicles on the main road, by the main parking lot, is no longer there. That main road is now County Road 390, so the stop signs were changed.
More transportation issues were discussed at the school board meeting Monday, August 25th.
