The annual kick-off for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Lake of the Woods was February 15th.

You can be part of a movement for more birthdays. Countless Americans who have never had cancer and 11 million who have are celebrating a birthday this year thanks to the American Cancer Society’s focus on saving lives.
Relay For Life so much more than a fund-raiser. It’s about learning to stay well for yourself and family, helping others to get well and becoming active in the community to fight back against cancer.
The movement is about everyday people coming together to make a meaningful difference.
By being involved with Relay For Life you will learn how to help prevent the disease in your life through lifestyle changes and preventative testing. You will support those battling cancer by helping to fund research and support programs. You can help put an end to cancer by becoming an advocate for your community and cancer patients throughout the world.
The Relay For Life event scheduled for August 7 is a time to come together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease.
