Dunn, James E. “Gene” age 87 of Janesville, MN formerly of  Forest  Lake peacefully passed away June 6, 2010.
He was a WWII Veteran who worked as a power lineman for many years, retiring as a power lineman instructor at Dakota County  Tech.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. 
He is preceded in death by his wife Jean; sister Theil Wagner; brother Robert.  He is survived by children Arnie (Candace), Rene (Michael) Niemczyk, Stewart (Shannon), Kelly (Michelle); eight grandchildren Michael Niemczyk II, Ronnea Roy, Jill Niemczyk, Michelle Grubbs, Melissa Dunn, Shawn Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Scott Dunn; five great-grandchildren, Hannah Roy, Declan Grubbs, Quinn Grubbs, Nadia Wagner, Nolan Grubbs; sister Velma (Kenneth) Larson.
Visitation was held from 2  to 4 p.m. with Funeral Services at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota.
