Looking for a fun night out with your friends? Plan to attend the Winter Gala event on February 20 at the Moose Lodge in Baudette. This great event features a Steak and Shrimp dinner, theater, silent auction, and all while supporting the community ambulance transporter project.
Beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $40 per person, which includes a $20 tax-deductible donation to LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation. This donation will directly support the Lake of the Woods Ambulance Service in their fundraising efforts to purchase a new type 2 patient transporter.
Lake of the Woods High School will present a one act comedy play at the event. Various silent auction items will be available for bids as well. LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation and Lake of the Woods Ambulance Service have partnered to raise money for this much needed patient transporter.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase from LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation board members Mike Larson, John Hoscheid, Sharon Anderson, Bill Mouw, Connie Nesmith, Stacy Novak, Tina Rennemo, Robyn Sonstegard, and Joe Ulwelling. Tickets are also available at Border State Bank, LakeWood Health Center, and RiverWood Bank.
Silent auction items are still being accepted. Hand-crafted items, fishing and other trips, merchandise, and other items are all acceptable silent auction items, and you may take the tax deduction for items donated.
